1. Local-First Storage

All database items, serial numbers, warranty end dates, and receipt attachments registered in our tools are saved inside your local browser's storage (localStorage) on your own device. We do not host any database servers, we do not log your inventory, and we cannot access your records under any circumstances.

2. Cloud Backup Sync

When using the Cloud Backup Hub features (Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive):

• Authentications occur directly and securely on the respective cloud provider's official login pages via OAuth.
• This site uses restricted-scope protocols (specifically Google's drive.file scope) which only allows the app to write and read files that it created. It has no access to your other cloud documents.
• OAuth access tokens are parsed client-side inside your browser to complete the file upload, and are immediately cleared. Access tokens are never stored, transmitted, or shared with Thorpe Tech.

3. AI Receipt Scanning

If you utilize the receipt scanner, processing is performed directly via API keys. Receipts are analyzed in real-time, and the parsed details are written directly into your browser state database. No media, text, or receipts are stored on our servers.

4. Feedback Submissions

If you choose to submit feedback through our portal, your name, email, and message are securely transmitted to our support inbox via Formspree.io. We only use this information to respond to bugs and suggestions.

5. Cookies & Tracking

This portal does not set any advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics beacons.
